We liked the fact that we could put the car in the underground garage as parking in the town is difficult, but access to the garage is challenging for a large car. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach, the restaurants etc. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The hotel smelt of smoke even though smoking is no longer allowed. It needs redecorating throughout. Having said that it is typical of a provincial French hotel down to the flocked wallpaper!

It's a very nice (for the money) small hotel in a resort town. It's a short stroll to all the action. The staff was very helpful, pleasant, and fluent in English. If you have a car the parking is worth the 10 Euros. The breakfast was standard, but will all the very good coffee you wanted, so in our book, well worth the 7 Euros Fifty per person. There is a nice quiet courtyard to sit in to enjoy a glass or two of wine (BYO). Wi-Fi was free and worked fine.
The room was small like many that have had bathrooms added, but because of the courtyard, it was fine. Not many electrical outlets, although they did provide a multi-tap outlet.

Proximity to the bus stop. Breakfast. Air conditioning.
Couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work - no panic, but I think it interfered with my phone's Wi-Fi facility. No lighting on the courtyard. Bathroom door insecure.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of a bustling town. The hotel was just a few minutes walk away from the pedestrian area and the vibrant center, yet it was tucked away in a quiet area, ensuring a peaceful stay. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious bathroom that had all the basic amenities I needed. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was simply superb, providing a great start to my day.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were fantastic, leaving me with nothing to complain about.

Nice hotel, within walking distance from the main centre of St Jean de Luz.
